Frequently asked questions
Today, we have the tools and the methodology to give distance learning as much impact as face-to-face training. Here's some feedback from people who thought like you and came to a discovery session(register free of charge):
- "I didn't think it would be so participative!!!"
- "It's amazing how much people share... You say they didn't know each other at the start of the training??"
- "You get the feeling that the training was designed natively to be distance learning, and that changes everything!"
We don't offer "made-to-measure", but we are convinced that our "generic" program will nurture any corporate culture, as long as it is compatible with the major principles underlying the WILL method (horizontality, trust, autonomy, subsidiarity and potentiality).
The WILL Academy will teach you management invariants such as active listening, positive intention, clarification, absolute responsibility... which you can then use to bring your values to life by integrating them into your managerial routines.
The WILL Academy is a program where every word is weighed up, and where the sessions follow on from each other in such a way as to offer a continuous and progressive progression to maximize the anchoring of the tools taught. This is how we manage to make such an impact in just 15 hours of training. The WILL Academy is the fruit of over a hundred iterations.
Finally, even if the program is generic, the very high proportion of practical application (70% of the session) on students' cases means that each promotion is unique, and above all that each promotion is linked to your managers' daily lives, since we only talk about their own cases.
WILL Academy is aimed at all types of managers, in all professions. The proof of this is that we have classes for executives ("promos des patrons") or board members, as well as first-time managers. Even if the program is generic, the tools are taught on the basis of the participants' cases, which will vary considerably depending on the seniority of the manager population.
On the other hand, we feel it's important to create homogeneous groups in terms of seniority, so that the cases speak to all the participants and they all feel involved in the exchanges.
We believe that what we teach at WILL Academy is very different from what you'll learn in other training courses on the market, so take a look at the program to see for yourself.
The format is also very specific, with short, intense formats that are repeated on a weekly basis.
Coaches who have completed 40-day training courses to become certified come to WILL Academy and learn a lot (take a look at the testimonials).
Experienced leaders attend WILL Academy and come away transformed.
You have the right! We can offer you a free trial session. There's no obligation and you can try out the WILL method for yourself and make up your own mind afterwards.
You can also consult all the verbatims and video testimonials from our alumni? We're not the ones to tell you all about it!
The answer is no to the training part. Why is that? Because we believe that the weekly rhythm allows for better assimilation of lessons and gives students time to practice and anchor what they've learned.
On the other hand, we can offer you "seminar" (team building)formats such as the " fresco of commitment" or around a theme such as active listening, managerial courage... You'll find details of our offers on the "Rates" page.
There is almost no compulsory homework (except for sessions 3 and 7) between sessions, but our trainers strongly recommend that you take advantage of situations in your professional (or personal) life to practice. It's very simple and speeds up the learning process. At each session, they'll help you identify situations in which you can practice.
Yes, if it were as good as they say, it should be world-famous!
First of all, we haven't (almost) invented anything! Above all, we've synthesized and made comprehensible the very best in personal development and management methods over the years. You may have heard of NLP, CNV, Liberating Structure, Lean... without really knowing what to do with them. At WILL, we transform all this knowledge into an impactful turnkey method.
As with anything new, you need time to make yourself known! For example, agile methods didn't appear until the late 90s, even though they're now a matter of course for many people.
Finally, as always, it's those who have lived it who speak best, and we're starting to get a lot of hindsight on the impact of training, with over 500 managers trained. Take a look at our testimonials, including this one on the impact of training, and this one on actionability.
The breakdown would be as follows:
- 70% practice, mainly in the form of role-playing (either as a participant or an active observer, with the role of participant frequently rotating). By the end of WILL Academy, you will have practiced 80% of the cards in a session and the rest on your own.
- 20% groupdiscussion based on questions, drawings and quizzes, to arouse students' curiosity and bring everyone's perspective to the group.
- 10% theory (you can go further on the theory outside the sessions with the resources proposed and selected by WILL, mainly books).
Take a look at this collection of testimonials on the WILL Academy format.
All sessions are recorded, so you can watch the recording on video. You can also take advantage of your flash coaching with your trainer to practice one of the exercises from the session. Last but not least, the book also offers you a great catch-up.
Not really. Why not? It would be too time-consuming for the trainer, and we wouldn't be able to remunerate them as well as we do now, which is one of the keys to attracting the best.
However, if you really want to, at an extra cost (€150 per session), you could consider scheduling a face-to-face session, especially for the first and last session. This will also depend on your location.
Absolutely not. The WA gives everyone simple, actionable tools to make their working environment more fulfilling. We talk a lot about managers because today's training budgets are mainly devoted to this type of employee.
All managers will benefit from training, and above all, will help their teams to do so! Regardless of size or sector, it's universal.
The WILL method has brought together the best methodologies from fields where little was said: NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), NVC (Non-Violent Communication), Lean, Liberating Structures.
She has also simplified the exercises as much as possible to make them accessible to as many people as possible, and placed them in a framework that makes it easy to navigate from one to another (via the layers: Me and myself, my colleagues, my management and my company).
There's a lot of interaction during the sessions between participants, without necessarily an "official" community with a dedicated tool (slack or what's app). Out-of-session exchanges are usually by email, a tool that everyone has at their disposal.
Strong bonds are often forged during a promotion between participants, even within INTERs (employees from different companies). Sometimes dinners are organized at the end of the promotion.
After the promotion, WILL remains available by e-mail to answer any questions you may have, and a newsletter is sent out every month to keep you up to date with the latest news and provide you with practical case studies or further reading. But there's no community - we've tried, but people don't necessarily want to share their problems beyond the intimate confines of a promotion.
We also offer reinforcement sessions for a former promotion or a company that has trained several promotions, to anchor practices.
Unfortunately, it is no longer. We were working with a partner whose certification has not been renewed. We are finalizing the submission of a certification application, but there is no guarantee that this will be successful, and not before the end of 2024.
In the meantime, we have decided to significantly reduce the price of training for individuals to €1,200 incl. VAT. We're aware that this represents a substantial investment, but we're very confident that it will pay off.
A : Because all the exercises are covered in the sessions. However, we strongly encourage students to practice these exercises between sessions, and we help them to find ways of doing so.
